This is a page inspired by the movement Derek Sivers started to periodically update a "now" page to let people know what's new in your life. For me, I'm hoping it serves more as a public proclamation of my goals, things I'm working on, and what I have been up to.

I am trying to ship as much code as possible and making it a part of my every day life. This includes at work, on my side projects, and open sourcing the things I think other devs would find interesting. Check out my GitHub to see my progress.
Photography is something I think is both a useful and fun skill to learn. I have done a lot of video editing in the past and am using photography/videography as an excuse to get better at the Adobe Suite.

I haven't quite decided if I want to go to grad school ever, but would like the option to apply if I ever decide it is for me. I am studying for the GRE to (hopefully) have the scores I would need to get into any programs I want to attend in the future.
It has always been my dream to be able to work from anywhere, anytime. I have been working on trying to downsize my stuff to become fully location independent.
It was my plan to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test this winter. I have decided to postpone that and instead try and live in Japan for a month or two before it is offered again next summer.
